Abstract

Abstract— UPS systems (Uninterruptible Power Supply) generally have Primary UPS as main power source to supply the load and Secondary UPS as backup or backup power when the main UPS runs out of power. In this thesis, a distributed load distribution design is evenly distributed on the UPS system in both the main and backup UPS so that the loading on the UPS system is more efficient. Multiple-UPS Switching System is a microcontroller based electrical system device that serves to adjust the UPS system loading evenly on each installed UPS, even though the load is randomly turned on. At first, the relay is switched on to sense how much current flows to the load, then the current sensor Current Transformator takes the data and then transmits it to the microcontroller which then decides how many UPS it takes to supply the load.Keywords : Current, Current Transformer, Efficient, Load,  Microcontroller, Multiple-UPS Switching System, Relay, UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply).Abstrak— Sistem UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) pada umumnya memiliki UPS Primary (utama) sebagai sumber daya utama untuk mensuplai beban dan UPS Secondary sebagai backup atau daya cadangan saat UPS utama kehabisan daya. Dalam tugas akhir ini, dikembangkan suatu desain pendistribusian beban yang merata pada sistem UPS baik UPS utama maupun cadangan sehingga pembebanan pada sistem UPS lebih efisien. Multiple-UPS Switching System merupakan perangkat sistem kelistrikan berbasis microcontroller yang berfungsi untuk mengatur pembebanan sistem UPS secara merata pada masing-masing UPS yang terpasang walaupun beban secara acak di nyalakan. Pada mulanya relay dinyalakan untuk membaca berapa arus yang mengalir ke beban, kemudian sensor arus Current Transformator mengambil data lalu diteruskan ke microcontroller yang kemudian akan memutuskan berapa UPS yang dibutuhkan untuk mensuplai beban yang ada. Kata kunci— Arus, Beban, Current Transformator, Efisien, Microcontroller, Multiple-UPS Switching System, Relay, UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply).
