Abstract

Abstract—Electrical energy needs in North Sulawesi is increasing. Along with that, many a few power plant development has done. Including Kotamobagu City Area which has a lot of water potential to be converted into electric power.Minihydro Power Plant (PLTM) development planning in Kobo Kecil village by utilizing water potential of Moayat river. Begin by calculating the water debit and head so it can be estimated that capability of PLTM to be built. Then it is designed to manufacture the components of PLTM, such as: dam, intake building, waterway, stilling pond, penstock, power house, and spillway. Where the power house there are main equipments, such as: turbine, generator, and transformer.Keywords: Generator, Head, Turbine, Water Debit.Abstrak—Kebutuhan energi listrik di Sulawesi Utara semakin meningkat. Seiring dengan itu, banyak dilakukan beberapa pembagunan pembangkit tenaga listrik. Termasuk daerah Kota Kotamobagu yang mempunyai banyak potensi air untuk diubah menjadi tenaga listrik.Perencanaan pembangunan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Minihidro (PLTM) di desa Kobo Kecil dengan memanfaatkan potensi air sungai Moayat. Di mulai dengan menghitung debit air dan head yang ada sehingga dapat diperkirakan kemampuan PLTM yang akan dibangun. Kemudian dirancangkan pembuatan komponen-komponen PLTM, seperti: bendung, bangunan pengambilan, saluran penghantar air, bak penenang, pipa pesat, rumah pembangkit dan saluran pelimpah. Dimana untuk gedung pembangkit terdapat peralatan utama, seperti: turbin, generator, dan transformator.Kata Kunci: Debit Air, Generator, Ketinggian Jatuh Air, Turbin.
