Abstract

ABSTRACT: A hearing impairment student is someone who has hearing barriers as the result she has the minimum of vocabulary.The purposes of this research areto describe the mastery vocabulary student with hearing impairment grade IV before and after intervention condition and to analysis the effect of picture crossword puzzle media toward the mastery vocabulary student with hearing impairment in grade IV.The research used was Single Subject Research (SSR) with A-B-A design.Data collection techniques were an oral test and a written test.The results showedthe effect of picture crossword puzzle media was applied toward the mastery vocabulary of student with hearing impairment in grade IV.ABSTRAK: Tunarungu adalah peserta didik yang mengalami hambatan dalam pendengaran sehingga mengakibatkan minimnya perbendaharaan kata. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untukmendeskripsikan pengusaan kosakata peserta didik tunarungu kelas IV sebelum dan sesudah kondisi intervensiserta menganalisis pengaruh media teka-teki silang bergambar terhadap pengusaan kosakata peserta didik tunarungu kelas IV.Metode yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen berbentukSingle Subject Reseach (SSR) desain A-B-A.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes lisan dan tes tulis.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh penggunaan media teka-teki silang bergambar terhadap penguasaan kosakata peserta didik tunarungu kelas IV.
