Jambi is one of the palm oil producing provinces in Indonesia, one of which is West Tanjung Jabung district. In 2023. Crude Palm Oil (CPO) experienced a decline and caused the price of FFB to also fall. The decline in the price of palm fruit bunches makes farmers anxious because if this continues for a long time it will result in losses for palm oil farmers. So the West Tanjung Jabung district government has a role in regulating prices at palm oil companies. This research aims to determine the role of the West Tanjung Jabung district government in setting prices and what obstacles the West Tanjung Jabung district government faces in setting prices for oil palm fresh fruit bunches (FFB). The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of this research show that the Tanjung Jabung Barat district government in its role as regulator, stabilizer, dynamist and supervisor, has performed relatively well. However, there are still several obstacles, such as the existence of several companies that have not fulfilled the decision to purchase palm oil FFB set by the government.
