<![CDATA[ABSTRAK. Sebelum Islam masuk ke Indonesia, di Indonesia sudah terdapat sistem kepercayaan selain Islam. Kepercayaan-kepercayaan tersebut tampak:nya hidup subur pada wilayah kubur-kubur Islam. Bagaimana dengan kubur-kubur Islam di Tuban yang merupakan pusat penyebaran Islam dan terdapat beberapa tokoh-tokoh penting dalam penyebaran Islam di Jawa, kuburnya terdapat di Tuban. Adakah unsur-unsur kepercayaan lain selain Islam pada kubur-kubur Islam di Tuban. Bagaimana sikap Islam terhadap unsur-unsur lain yang terdapat pada kubur-kubur Islam. Apakah ini salah satu bentuk kompromi ataukah penyimpangan. Kalau itu merupakan bentuk kompromi mengapa dan kalau hal itu penyimpangan mengapa? Kata Kunci: Islam; Religi; Kubur; Tuban ABSTRACT.
