<![CDATA[The GDP growth of Gunungsitoli City in recent years continues to increase, this increase shows good regional economic performance as a result of optimal utilization of production factors. This study aims to calculate and analyze the growth of economic sectors, economic competitiveness and the growth profile of economic sectors in Gunungsitoli City with a proxy for GDP from 2021 to 2023. The analysis method used is a descriptive method with a Shift-Share analysis approach. The results showed that the economic growth of North Sumatra province has had an impact on economic sectors in Gunungsitoli City and has advantages in the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries sectors, construction sub-sectors, large trade and retail sectors, transportation and warehousing sectors, Accommodation and Food and Drink Provision, Education Services sector, and Financial and Insurance Services sectors. These sectors of the economy have progressive (positive) growth.
