This thesis is entitled "The Role of Women in the Management of the Nahdhatul Ulama Muslim Organization, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra." There are two research objectives, namely first to determine the role of women in the Management of the NU Muslimah Organization, Tanjung Lago, Banyuasin Regency, second to determine the factors inhibiting and supporting the role of women. in Management of the NU Tanjung Lago Muslimat Organization, Banyuasin Regency. This type of research (field research) uses a qualitative approach. There are two data sources used, namely primary and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis technique with three stages, namely Data Reduction, Data Presentation, and Conclusion Drawing. The theory in this research uses Soerjono Soekanto's theory. The results of this research are, the role of women in the management of an organization is very important to improve the activities that have been established. Management in the Nahdatul Ulama Muslimah organization in Tanjung Lago sub-district is not yet optimal because there are several obstacles faced regarding women's participation, it is still difficult to take part in the activities held, there are still many who do not understand and know about the Nahdatul Ulama Muslimah organization in Tanjung Lago sub-district, limited time, low knowledge and education level of women and limited funds in carrying out organizational activities. This organization is still very new, its activities are quite well structured, but not everything is running according to their respective fields. For its ongoing activities, namely in the fields of Da'wah and development, social culture and the community environment, such as providing assistance to orphans, social service, religious studies, dibaan, yasinan, tahlilan and Islamic holidays, etc. The supporting factors for the role of women in the management of the Muslimat Nahdatul Ulama organization are being able to manage the activities of its members in a directed manner even though this organization is still new, the many activities of visiting and holding large Islamic events, the feeling of comfort and freedom in complaining, the many religious activities while the inhibiting factor is the lack of adequate facilities. adequate, many activities are not yet running, river transportation is hampered, administrators are busy.Keywords: Role of Women, Management, Organization, Muslimat Nahdlatul Ulama
