Abstract

Malocclusion in children can be caused by various things such as genetics, trauma, disease, nutritional status, bad habits and feeding methods. Feeding methods such as exclusive breastfeed and bottle-feeding have an effect on malocclusion in children. Children who are exclusively breastfed optimally have less likely to develop malocclusion than bottle-feeding children.
