OPTIMALISASI GIZI 1000 HARI PERTAMA KEHIDUPAN MELALUI PEMBENTUKAN, PELATIHAN DAN PENDAMPINGAN KELOMPOK PENDUKUNG ASI

Abstrak: 1000 Hari Pertama Kehidupan (HPK) merupakan masa krusial yang berdampak pada tumbuh kembang dan kesehatan anak di masa depan. Memberikan Air Susu Ibu (ASI) secara eksklusif merupakan satu langkah penting untuk optimalisasi gizi 1000 HPK. Cakupan terendah pemberian ASI eksklusif di Sulawesi Tengah adalah Kabupaten Poso sebesar 34,9%. Pembentukan kelompok pendukung ASI (KP-ASI) dapat menjadi solusi efektif untuk mengatasi berbagai kendala dalam pemberian ASI eksklusif. Desa Boe salah satu desa di Kecamatan Pamona Selatan Kabupaten Poso yang belum terbentuk KP ASI. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membentuk, melatih dan mendampingi KP-ASI. Pemerintah dan bidan Desa Boe merupakan mitra dalam pengabdian masyarakat. Tiga puluh peserta, termasuk kader dan ibu hamil, mengikuti program yang berlangsung di Balai Desa Boe pada tanggal 20–22 Mei 2024. Cara pelayanannya melalui ceramah dan sesi tanya jawab. Penilaian pengetahuan mengenai ASI eksklusif digunakan untuk mengevaluasi kegiatan. Berdasarkan temuan evaluasi, Desa Boe telah membentuk KP-ASI, dan setelah dilakukan pengabdian, 80% peserta memiliki pengetahuan yang kuat.Abstract: The First 1000 Days of Life (HPK) is a crucial period that has an impact on children's future growth and development and health. Providing breast milk (ASI) exclusively is an important step to optimize 1000 HPK nutrition. The lowest coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in Central Sulawesi is Poso Regency at 34.9%. The formation of a breastfeeding support group (KP-ASI) can be an effective solution to overcome various obstacles in providing exclusive breastfeeding. Boe Village is one of the villages in South Pamona District, Poso Regency where KP ASI has not yet been formed. This service activity aims to form, train, and assist KP-ASI. The government and the midwives of Boe Village are the partners in community service. Thirty participants, including cadres and expectant mothers, participated in this program, which took place in the Boe Village Hall on May 20–22, 2024. The way the service is provided is through lectures and Q&A sessions. The assessment of knowledge regarding exclusive breastfeeding is used to evaluate the activities. According to the evaluation's findings, Boe Village has established KP-ASI, and following the service, 80% of participants had strong knowledge.
