<![CDATA[Disputes over election results often arise, especially when elections are conducted simultaneously. This research aims to examine the causes of disputes over the results of Indonesia's general elections as well as the role of the Constitutional Court as an independent and impartial institution authorised to resolve disputes. The methodology used in this research is normative juridical. The causes of disputes over general election results can be from internal and external factors. The role of the Constitutional Court is vital in resolving disputes over election results quickly and fairly. ABSTRAK Perselisihan tentang hasil pemilihan umum seringkali muncul, apalagi jika pemilihannya dilakukan secara serentak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji sebab-sebab perselisihan mengenai hasil pemilihan umum Indonesia serta peran Mahkamah Konstitusi sebagai lembaga yang independen dan imparsial yang berwenang menyelesaikan perselisihan. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini bersifat yuridis normatif. Penyebab perselisihan hasil pemilihan umum bisa dari faktor internal dan eksternal.
