<![CDATA[The problem that occurs in the learning process at Pringapus 2 Public Middle School is the lack of teacher innovation in applying learning models in the classroom resulting in low social studies learning outcomes for students. The application of the window shopping cooperative learning model is expected to be a solution to improve student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of applying the window shopping cooperative learning model to social studies learning outcomes of students. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach to the experimental type Quasi Experiment design. The population of this study, namely class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Pringapus, Semarang Regency, with a sampling technique using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques in this study used tests and documentation. Permasalahan yang terjadi pada proses pembelajaran di SMP Negeri 2 Pringapus adalah kurangnya inovasi guru dalam penerapan model pembelajaran didalam kelas mengakibatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa menjadi rendah. Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe window shopping diharapkan dapat menjadi sebuah solusi untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe window shopping terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif jenis eksperimen Quasi Eksperiment design. Populasi penelitian ini, yaitu siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 2 Pringapus Kabupaten Semarang dengan teknik sampling menggunakan purposive sampling.
