<![CDATA[Abstract: The purpose of this research is to describe the form and function of speech acts contained in the text of President Joko Widodo's speech. This research is a qualitative research. The data source for this research is the Metro TV YouTube channel which is estimated to be 24 minutes long. The data collection method used in this research is the listening method, and the basic technique is the tapping technique, as well as other advanced techniques such as the proficient free-involved listening technique, recording technique, and note-taking technique. After the data has been collected thoroughly, the data is then sorted and collected based on the form of speech that corresponds to the speech acts proposed by Searle, and the function of the speech is analyzed. Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk serta fungsi tindak tutur yang terdapat pada isi teks pidato Presiden Joko Widodo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah kanal YouTube Metro TV berestimasi selama 24 menit. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode simak, dan teknik dasarnya adalah teknik sadap, serta teknik lanjutan lainnya seperti teknik simak bebas libat cakap, teknik rekam, dan teknik catat. Setelah data terkumpul menyeluruh, selanjutnya data tersebut dipilah lalu dikumpulkan berdasarkan bentuk tuturan yang sesuai dengan tindak tutur yang telah dikemukakan oleh Searle, serta dianalisis fungsi tuturan tersebut.]]>
