<![CDATA[This research was motivated by observations of the character or behavior of students at SD Negeri 16 Betung where the students' lack of ethics in respecting teachers at school. To respond to this, the author conducted classroom action research which aims to shape the character of students so that at school, they have the correct ethics in respecting teachers both when teaching in class and when giving directions outside the classroom. This research was conducted in grades one to six, especially those who are Christian at one of elementary schools of Landak District, Kalimantan Barat This research can provide maximum results for students. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh pengamatan karakter atau tingkah laku siswa di SD Negeri 16 Betung dimana minimnya etika siswa tersebut dalam menghargai guru di sekolah. Untuk merespon hal ini maka penulis melakukan penelitan tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk membentuk karakter peserta didik sehingga di Sekolah, mereka memiliki etika yang benar dalam menghargai guru baik saat mengajar di kelas juga dikala memberikan arahan di luar kelas. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kelas satu sampai dengan kelas enam khususnya yang beragama Kristen di salah satu sekolah dasar di kabupaten Landak, Kalimantantan Barat.
