ABSTRAK Kualitas produk atau layanan yang dikeluarkan oleh UKM tidak hanya memengaruhi kepuasan pelanggan tetapi juga dapat membentuk persepsi pasar terhadap merek dan kredibilitas bisnis. Penelitian ini memfokuskan peran pengendalian kualitas dengan menganalisis literatur terkait. Ditemukan bahwa implementasi metode FOQC, SPC, dan analisis statistik memberikan dampak positif pada peningkatan kualitas produk. Identifikasi penyebab cacat melalui analisis sebab-akibat, diagram Pareto, dan New Seven Tools, serta penerapan tindakan perbaikan terfokus, seperti pelatihan pekerja dan perawatan mesin, memperkuat pengendalian kualitas. Evaluasi faktor lingkungan juga penting dalam meminimalkan risiko produk cacat. Penggunaan alat statistik, seperti grafik peta kendali, membantu memantau dan meningkatkan kinerja kualitas, memberikan keunggulan kompetitif bagi Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM). Kesimpulannya, pendekatan holistik dalam pengendalian kualitas melalui FOQC dan SPC krusial dalam mencapai produksi unggul dan memenuhi standar, memberikan dampak positif pada kualitas produk dan daya saing UKM di pasar. ABSTRAK The quality of products or services issued by SMEs not only affects customer satisfaction but can also shape market perceptions of the brand and business credibility. This research focuses on the role of quality control by analyzing related literature. It was found that the implementation of FOQC, SPC and statistical analysis methods had a positive impact on improving product quality. Identifying the causes of defects through cause-effect analysis, Pareto diagrams, and New Seven Tools, as well as implementing focused corrective actions, such as worker training and machine maintenance, strengthens quality control. Evaluation of environmental factors is also important in minimizing the risk of defective products. The use of statistical tools, such as control charts, helps monitor and improve quality performance, providing a competitive advantage for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). In conclusion, a holistic approach to quality control through FOQC and SPC is crucial in achieving superior production and meeting standards, providing a positive impact on product quality and the competitiveness of SMEs in the market.
