<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of the poor and unemployment on economic growth in the Mataraman area of East Java Province in the 2017-2020 period. The data used is panel data consisting of a combination of data from the Mataraman area of EastJava Province from 2017-2020. Economic growth as the dependent variable, while the poor and unemployment as independent variables. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression, using the Fixed Effects Model (FEM). The partial regression results of the poor have no effect on economic growth, while unemployment has a negative and significant effect on economic growth. Both the simultaneous poor population and unemployment have an influence on the economic growth of 16 cities/regencies in the Mataraman area of East Java and the coefficient of determination in this study is 67%.]]>
