Bridges are the most strategic transportation infrastructure that is useful for connecting one area with another area that is separated by an obstacle. Bridges are also part of land transportation infrastructure which is very vital in traffic flows. Bridges are often a critical component of a road section, because they determine the maximum load of vehicles passing through that road section. The history of bridges is quite old, along with the emergence of communication/transportation relations between humans and between humans and their natural environment. The types and shapes and materials used have changed according to advances in time and technology, starting from very simple ones to sophisticated constructions. One of the developments in Indonesia is located in South Sumatra Province, specifically in Muara Enim Regency, namely the implementation of the Bantaian Fly Over construction. The infrastructure development was built with the aim of smoothing traffic flow where traffic jams often occur at railway crossings. So in this Independent Study activity the author is interested in researching the implementation process with the title Review of the implementation of a mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) type retaining wall on the Bantayan flyover. Keywords:  Implementation of a Mechanically Stabilized Earh (MSE) Wall type retaining wall
