<![CDATA[General elections are an important moment in democratic life in Indonesia. Various parties are involved in election monitoring to ensure transparency, fairness and legitimacy of the democratic process. Bawaslu is the institution directly responsible for overseeing the election process. Regarding this matter, it is very important to provide legal counseling to the Solok City Bawaslu based on Letter Number: 222/PM.00.02/K.SB-19/12/2022. The topic that will be discussed is first to discuss the legal basis for supervision by Bawaslu of Solok City. Second, what is the form of supervision of the Solok City Election Supervisory Board during the 2024 simultaneous general elections. The legal counseling methodology is carried out face-to-face in Solok City. General Election Supervisory Agency Regulation Number 5 of 2022 concerning Supervision of General Elections (Perbawaslu 5/22) is the basis for Solok City Bawaslu to supervise the implementation of the 2024 simultaneous General Elections.
