<![CDATA[Abstract: This article is motivated by the existence of a carbon trading policy as a form of effort from Indonesia to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions with a target, namely that by 2030 greenhouse gas emissions can be reduced to 29% of its own capabilities and 41% with international support, which is commitment from Indonesia. So this article intends to examine carbon trading as seen from the perspective of sustainable development in Indonesia, which has been carrying out carbon trading since 2023, with the carbon exchange organizer of the Indonesia Stock Exchange, the idea of carbon trading can bring together very crucial problems so far, namely the economy and the environment. , so that the problem identification in this paper is related to carbon trading from the perspective of sustainable development in Indonesia, as an effort to mitigate environmental change. Writing this scientific work uses a normative research approach. The research results show that in practice carbon trading will have an impact on increasing people's welfare and very effective environmental changes, thereby increasing national wealth.Keywords: Carbon trading and sustainable development.]]>
