<![CDATA[ABSTRACT This study aimed to analyze the performance of Islamic banking compared to the conventional banking if the evaluate level of health using CAMEL. Data analysis methods have described in accordance with study design which methods will be used to measure the health of the Bank, which is measured by CAMEL. The data analysis in this research were used Microsoft Exel, SPSS and others. The results show that in general, in terms of profitability and liquidity of Islamic banks profit performance is better than the conventional commercial banks. However, there are some lower rations than conventional banking, the capiatal adequacy ratio (CAR), asset quality ratio (NPF), and the efficiency ratio (ROA).
