<![CDATA[The Islamic political thought of M. Quraish Shihab in Indonesia has become an interesting subject of analysis in contemporary political studies. In the pluralistic context of Indonesia, Islamic political thought is important as it involves the dynamics of a heterogeneous society. In this research, a thorough analysis of the Islamic political thought of M. Quraish Shihab is conducted. Through a qualitative approach, data is obtained from interviews, literature, and related documents. The analysis results indicate that Shihab emphasizes the importance of understanding and applying Islamic values wisely in political life, in line with the spirit of tolerance and pluralism that are characteristic of the Indonesian nation. Shihab also highlights the rejection of radicalism and extremism, as well as the importance of maintaining a balance between religion and state in Islamic politics in Indonesia. Shihab's Islamic political thought offers a balanced and progressive view, emphasizing harmony between religion, politics, and national life. This study makes an important contribution to understanding the dynamics of Indonesian politics and society, as well as the role of Islamic politics in a pluralistic context.]]>
