Abstract

Sumber daya alam adalah salah satu aset fundamental dalam pembangunan nasional, dan oleh karena itu, harus dimanfaatkan secara optimal demi kepentingan rakyat sambil tetap memperhatikan keberlanjutan lingkungan sekitar. Kabupaten Situbondo memiliki potensi sektor pertambangan yang cukup signifikan, terutama dalam hal ekstraksi komoditi tambang galian golongan C, termasuk pasir, tanah liat, batu, batu kapur, dan trass. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif untuk memberikan gambaran rinci tentang rencana pertambangan. Selain itu, dalam penelitian ini, perangkat lunak Global Mapper digunakan sebagai alat bantu. Global Mapper adalah sebuah perangkat lunak yang sangat berguna dalam proses perencanaan pertambangan karena memiliki beragam fitur yang mendukung pelaksanaan rencana tersebut. Penambangan batuan tanah urug ini berlokasi di Kabupaten Situbondo, di mana sebagian besar wilayah tersebut adalah lahan pertanian atau tegalan, yang sebagian kecilnya digunakan sebagai perkebunan. Wilayah yang diajukan untuk penambangan ini, berdasarkan hasil overlay luas Wilayah Izin Usaha Pertambangan (WIUP) dan pengukuran lapangan, memiliki luas sekitar 4,08 hektar. Rencana penambangan batuan tanah urug ini dilakukan dengan elevasi tertinggi dari 357 meter di atas permukaan air laut (mdpl) hingga ketinggian 312 mdpl. Natural resources are one of the fundamental assets in national development, and therefore, must be utilized optimally for the benefit of the people while still paying attention to the desires of the surrounding environment. Situbondo Regency has significant mining sector potential, especially in terms of the extraction of class C mining commodities, including sand, clay, stone, limestone and trass. This research uses a descriptive approach to provide a detailed description of the mining plan. In addition, in this research, Global Mapper software was used as a tool. Global Mapper is software that is very useful in the mining planning process because it has various features that support the implementation of the plan. This backfill rock mining is located in Situbondo Regency, where most of the area is agricultural land or moorland, a small part of which is used as plantations. The area opened for mining, based on the results of an overlay of the Mining Business Permit Area (WIUP) and field measurements, has an area of ​​around 4.08 hectares. This landfill rock mining plan is carried out at the highest height from 357 meters above sea level (masl) to a height of 312 masl.
