Penulisan dan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi serta menganalisis penindasan terhadap pelaku cybercrime dan peran pemerintah dalam pemberantasan cybercrime khususnya dalam konteks pornografi. dialam penelitian ini, menggunagakan metode penelitian hukum normatif dengan pendekatan penelitian hukum dan peraturan. Sesuai data yang didapat penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aturan kejahatan siber diatur dan tertuang dalam UUITE. Namun sayangnya peraturan tersebut masih banyak ditafsirkan sehingga sering dianggap bersifat memaksa karena peraturan UUITE masih belum jelas. Kecanggihan teknologi komputer telah memudahkan manusia dalam menyelesaikan pekerjaannya. Pada saat yang sama, dampak negatif kecanggihan teknologi telah melahirkan jenis kejahatan baru, termasuk penggunaan teknologi sebagai sarana untuk melakukan kejahatan. Dengan berkembangnya teknologi ini, penanganan kejahatan di bidang cybercrime serta proses pembuktian kejahatan menjadi sangat rumit. Internet yang dapat diakses oleh semua orang menciptakan peluang yang sangat besar untuk melakukan kejahatan dunia maya, khususnya pornografi. This writing and research aims to identify and analyze the oppression of cybercrime perpetrators and the role of the government in eradicating cybercrime, especially in the context of pornography. In this scientific work, normative legal research methods are used with a legal and regulatory research approach. The research results show that cyber crime regulations are regulated and contained in UUITE. However, unfortunately these regulations are still widely interpreted so that they are often considered coercive because the UUITE regulations are still unclear. Sophistication of computer technology has made it easier for humans to complete their work. At the same time, the negative impact of technological sophistication has given rise to new types of crime, including the use of technology as a means to commit crimes. With the development of this technology, handling crimes in the field of cybercrime and the process of proving crimes have become very complicated. The internet, which is accessible to everyone, creates enormous opportunities for committing cybercrime, especially pornography.
