Literatur historiografi Islam Di IAIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta masih langka, sehingga tadi ilmu ini terbatas dengan beberapa buah buku, yang tentu saja apa yang diperoleh dengan keterbatasannya ini belum memuaskan. Walaupun demikian bagi para peminat dapat melanjutkan studinya dengan penelitian sendiri.
