ABSTRAK Sarana penentu dalam kesuksesan kegiatan belajar mengajar adalah ergonomi lingkungan yang baik. Namun salah satu sarana yang kerap menjadi persoalan terbesar dalam kegiatan pembelajaran adalah kebisingan. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mereduksi kebisingan bersifa alam dan buatan. Peredam kebisingan yang bersifat alam dapat dilaksanakan dengan memanfaatkan vegetasi atau tanaman seperti Bambu Jepang (Dracena Surculosa), Bougenville (Bougenville sp,) dan Cemara Papua (Cupressus Papuanus). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jenis ke-3 tanaman tersebut terhadap penurunan tingkat kebisingan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan barrier yang ditambahkan tanaman Bambu Jepang (Dracena Surculosa), Bougenville (Bougenville sp,) dan Cemara Papua (Cupressus Papuanus). Perhitungan kebisingan menggunakan rumus pada Keputusan Menteri Negara Lingkungan Hidup No. 48 Tahun 1996 dan nilai ambang batas kebisingan menggunakan Peraturan Menteri Tenaga Kerja Republik Indonesia Nomor 5 Tahun 2018. Transmission Loss oleh tanaman disesuaikan berdasarkan SNI No. 7231. Pengukuran tingkat kebisingan menggunakan alat Sound Level Meter. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan, dapat disimpulakan bahwa Media peredam kebisingan dengan memanfaatkan tanaman seperti tanaman Bambu Jepang (Dracaena Surculosa) dapat meredam kebisingan hingga 5,3 dB dan efektivitas tanaman Bambu Jepang dalam mereduksi kebisingan setara dengan 0,061059908%. Efisiensi penurunan tingkat kebisingan oleh tanaman Bougenville (Bougenville sp,) sebesar 1,5 dB dan efektivitas tanaman Bougenville (Bougenville sp,) dalam mereduksi kebisingan setara dengan 0,017281106%. Efisiensi tanaman Cemara Papua (Cupressus Papuanus) dalam meredam kebisingan sebesar 0,4 dB. Efektivitas tanaman Cemara Papua (Cupressus Papuanus) dalam mereduksi kebisingan setara dengan 0,004608295%. Hal ini disebabkan karena adanya perbedaan ukuran, bentuk tanaman, dan ketidak setaraan jarak media tanaman pada barrier..Kata Kunci : bambu jepang, bougenville, bougenville sp, cemara papua, cupressus papuanus, dracena surculosa, ergonomi, kebisingan, reduksi ABSTRACT Effect Of Japanese Bamboo (Dracena Surculosa), Bougenville (Bougenville Sp), And Papuan Cypress (Cupressus Papuanus) Plants As Noise Reducing Media. The determining tool for the success of teaching and learning activities is good environmental ergonomics. However, one of the tools that often becomes the biggest problem in learning activities is noise. Efforts that can be made to reduce noise are natural and artificial. Natural noise reduction can be implemented by utilizing vegetation or plants such as Japanese Bamboo (Dracena Surculosa), Bougainvillea (Bougenville sp,) and Papua Pine (Cupressus Papuanus). This research aims to determine the effect of these 3 types of plants on reducing noise levels. This research was carried out using a barrier that was added with Japanese bamboo (Dracena Surculosa), Bougainvillea (Bougenville sp,) and Papua Pine (Cupressus Papuanus) plants. The noise calculation uses the formula in the Decree of the Minister of Environment No. 48 of 1996 and the noise threshold value uses the Regulation of the Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia Number 5 of 2018. Transmission Loss by plants is adjusted based on SNI No. 7231. Measurement of noise levels using a Sound Level Meter. Based on the results of research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that noise reduction media using plants such as the Japanese Bamboo plant (Dracaena Surculosa) can reduce noise by up to 5.3 dB and the effectiveness of the Japanese Bamboo plant in reducing noise is equivalent to 0.061059908%. The effectiveness of the Papua Pine (Cupressus Papuanus) plant in reducing noise is equivalent to 0.004608295%.
