TINGKAT PENCEMARAN LINGKUNGAN PERAIRAN DITINJAU DARI ASPEK FISIKA, KIMIA DAN LOGAM DI PANTAI KARTINI JEPARA

Abstract

Increasing the human activities, especially in coastal areas could waste product  from aquaculture activities, domestic waste, tourism, and fisheries activities. The objective of this research  to calculate  Water pollution index value consist  parameter Physics, chemistry and heavy metals, among others, is the transparency,turbidity, temperature, TSS, DO, BOD5, pH, salinity, detergents, oils and fats as well as heavy metals Pb,Hg and Cd. This study was conducted in April 2015. The survey method used in this study. The results showed that water quality of the estuary area has  1-2.5 m transperancy, turbidity from 1.2 to 14.3, temperature 30 ° C, TSS 18-30 mg / l, DO 4.1 to 6.22 mg / l, BOD5 6.08 to 15.71 mg / l, pH 7.9, Salinity ranges between 34- 35 ‰, Detergents 0.01 to 1.2 mg / l MBAs, Oils and fats 0.1 to 1.3 mg / l, Pb <0.003 mg / l, Hg <0.001 mg / l, Cd <0.001 mg / l. Water pollution index showed a value below the threshold range, but there are some stations that have exceeded the threshold value and are included in the category of lightly polluted on st1 (IP = 2,11), st2 (IP = 1.08) and st5 (IP = 1.02) according to the Decree of the Minister of Environment No. 115 2003. Peningkatan aktivitas manusia terutama di daerah pesisir menghasilkan limbah dari  kegiatan budidaya perikanan, limbah domestik, pariwisata, dan kegiatan perikanan tangkap. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghitung nilai indeks pencemaran Perairan di Pantai Kartini meliputi  parameter Fisika, kimia dan Logam berat antara lain adalah kecerahan, kekeruhan, Suhu, TSS, DO, BOD5,  pH, Salinitas, Deterjen, Minyak  dan lemak serta logam berat Pb,Hg dan Cd. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April 2015. Metode survey digunakan dalam penelitian ini.   Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Kualitas perairan kawasan muara memiliki kecerahan 1-2,5 m, kekeruhan 1,2 – 14,3 , Suhu 30o C, TSS 18 - 30  mg/l,  DO 4,1 – 6,22 mg/l, BOD5 6,08 – 15,71 mg/l, pH 7,9 Salinitas berkisar antara 34- 35‰,  Deterjen 0,01 – 1,2 mg/l MBAS, Minyak dan Lemak 0,1 – 1,3 mg/l, Pb <0,003 mg/l, Hg <0,001 mg/l, Cd <0,001 mg/l. Indek pencemaran perairan menunjukan nilai di bawah kisaran ambang batas,  namun ada beberapa stasiun yang telah melampaui nilai ambang batas dan termasuk dalam kategori tercemar ringan yaitu pada st1 (IP = 2,11), st2 (IP = 1,08) dan st5 (IP = 1,02) menurut Keputusan  Menteri Negara Lingkungan Hidup No. 115 tahun 2003.
