<![CDATA[Being elderly means experiencing a decline in physical condition that restrains their mobility. However, several elderly people work as pedicab drivers in their old age. This research examines the meaning of gratitude among elderly pedicab drivers after the outbreak. By using the qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, the researchers gathered data from a series of interviews from December 2022 to April 2023. The data taken from three informants are analyzed through interpretative phenomenological analysis. The research results show that the meaning of gratitude is closely related to feeling sufficient, loving work, and being ikhlas with existing conditions. The expressions of gratitude which are in the form of reciting Alhamdulillah, worshipping Allah, sharing sustenance, and working, can keep a person away from negative emotions to make him mentally healthy. This research is expected to enrich the study of gratitude from the perspective of Tasawuf as well as Islamic Psychology.]]>
