<![CDATA[Abstrak PT Garuda Food Putra Putri Jaya adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang makanan dan minuman dibawah Tudung Group. Produk yang diproduksi di Garuda Food Pati antara lain kacang atom, kacangtelur, dan rosta. Sortex adalah area yang berfungsi untuk melakukan penyortiran ose (biji kacang) untukmembuat produk tersebut. Akan tetapi, dari tiga shift kerja, terdapat perbedaan output ose harian danmasih terdapat operator yang mengerjakan pekerjaan lain atau membantu pekerjaan yang lain. Olehkarena itu, dilakukan analisis workload dan jumlah kebutuhan operator untuk mengetahui beban kerjadan jumlah operator yang seharusnya dibutuhkan. Metode yang digunakan adalah time study denganmengamati waktu proses setiap stasiun kerja yang ada di Sortex kemudian dilakukan perhitungan waktusiklus,waktu normal, waktu standar, workload, dan kebutuhan operator. Dari perhitungan workload,dapat diketahui apakah kondisi existing termasuk Overload,sesuai, atau Underload. Dari perhitungantersebut, penulis kemudian dapat memberi saran yang sesuai untuk menjadi pertimbangan perusahaan.Kata kunci : Sortex, Workload, Time StudyAbstract PT Garuda Food Putra Putri Jaya is a company engaged in the field of food and beverages under theTudung Group. The products which manufactured at PT Garuda Food Pati include coated peanuts, androsta. Sortex is an area that functions to sort ose (peanut seeds) to make the product. However, fromthe three work shifts, there are differences in daily ose output and there are still operators who do orhelp another work. Therefore, an analysis of workload and the number of operator’s needs carried outto determine the workload and the number of operators that should be needed. The method which usedis time study by observing the processing time of each work station in Sortex and then calculating thecycle time, normal time, standard time, workload, and operators needs. From the workload calculation,it can be seen whether the existing conditions include Overload, Appropriate, or Underload.
