Uric acid is the product of purine metabolism which must be excreted from the body. Uric acid levels that exceed normal limits trigger a buildup of uric acid in the joints and other organs of the body which will cause painful symptoms. Complaints that are felt due to increased levels of uric acid can be overcome by using lime juice. The high content of citric acid and vitamin C in limes will increase uric acid excretion through the urine. This study aims to determine the effect of lime juice on uric acid levels in Sokokulon Village, Margorejo District, Pati Regency. The design of this study used a quasy experiment with non-equivalent pre-test post-test control group design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, with a total sample of 32 people who were divided into 2 group, namely the control group 16 people and the intervention group 16 people. The variables studied were lime juice and uric acid levels. The data collection technique uses the Sinocare brand GCU measuring instrument. Data analysis using Independent t test. The results of uric acid levels before being given lime juice in both the control and intervention groups with mean of 7.06 mg/dL, while after the intervention in the control group with mean of 7.08 mg/dL, in the intervention group mean 5.98 mg/dL. The results showed that there was an effect of lime juice on uric acid levels with a p value of 0.000. lime juice can reduce uric acid levels in the blood. ABSTRAK Asam urat adalah hasil metabolisme purin yang harus dikeluarkan dari dalam tubuh. Kadar asam urat diatas normal akan memicu penumpukan asam urat pada persendian dan organ tubuh lainnya yang akan menimbulkan gejala nyeri. Keluhan timbul akibat peningkatan kadar asam urat dapat diatasi dengan menggunakan jeruk nipis (Citrus aurantifolia). Kandungan asam sitrat dan vitamin C yang tinggi di dalam jeruk nipis akan meningkatkan ekskresi asam urat melalui urin. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan quasy eksperiment dengan rancangan noneqivalent pre-test post-test control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel mengunakan purposive sampling, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 32 orang yang dibagi menjadi 2, yaitu kelompok kontrol 16 orang dan kelompok intervensi 16 orang. Variable dalam penelitian ini adalah perasan jeruk nipis dan kadar asam urat. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan alat ukur GCU merk Sinocare. Analisa data menggunakan Independen t test. kadar asam urat sebelum diberikan perasan air jeruk nipis baik kelompok kontrol maupun kelompok intervensi dengan mean 7.06 mg/dL, sedangkan sesudah intervensi pada kelompok kontrol dengan mean 7,08 mg/dL, pada kelompok intervensi 5,98 mg/dL. Hasil didapatkan ada pengaruh pemberian perasan air jeruk nipis terhadap kadar asam urat dengan hasil p value sebesar 0,000. Perasan air jeruk nipis dapat menurunkan kadar asam urat dalam darah.
