<![CDATA[Abstrak. Pemilu 2019 merupakan kali pertama Indonesia mengganti metode perhitungan kursi parlemen dari kuota Hare ke Sainte Lague. Undang – Undang Nomor 7 Tahun 2017 pasal 420 menyatakan bahwa metode Sainte Lague membagi suara sah tiap partai politik dengan bilangan pembagi ganjil 1,3,5,7 dan seterusnya. Namun demikian, undang-undang tersebut tidak memberikan detail langkah matematis untuk perhitungan. Karenanya, makalah ini memberikan algoritma perhitungan kursi parlemen dengan metode Sainte Lague untuk memperjelas langkah perhitungan secara matematis dan sebagai dasar penyusunan perangkat lunak untuk perhitungan. Algoritma yang telah disusun selanjutnya diterapkan untuk menghitung perolehan kursi DPR masing-masing partai pada Daerah Pemilihan Jawa Barat 1 pada tahun 2019. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa perolehan kursi sesuai dengan hasil perhitungan KPU. Abstract.The 2019 general election was the first time Indonesia changed the method for calculation of parliamentary seats, from Hare Quota to Sainte Lague. Act Number 7 of 2017 article 420 states the Sainte Lague method divides the valid votes by the odd numbers 1,3,5,7 and so on. However, the Act did not specify the detailed mathematical steps for the calculation. Therefore, this article shows the algorithm for parliamentary seats calculation using the Sainte Lague method to clarify the mathematical steps needed for the calculation and as the basis for software development. The algorithm is then used to calculate the national parliamentary seats for each party in the electoral district Jawa Barat I. The calculation showed that the seats allocated matched with the calculation from the commission of general election.]]>
