This research aims to increase the nationalist attitudes of fifth grade students at SD Inpres 2 Wagom through the implementation of character education by singing the mandatory national song before teaching and learning activities. The problem identified is the low level of nationalism among students, which can be seen from the lack of respect for state symbols and the lack of sense of pride as Indonesian citizens. The proposed solution is to include the activity of singing the national anthem into the daily routine at school as part of character education. This research uses the classroom action method with a descriptive qualitative approach to describe and summarize various conditions, as conditions in class V at SD Inpres 2 Wagom. The research results showed a significant increase in students' nationalistic attitudes after the implementation of this program. Students show an increased sense of patriotism, appreciation for state symbols, and pride as Indonesian citizens. In conclusion, singing the national anthem as part of character education is effective in increasing students' nationalist attitudes. The recommendation from this research is that other schools can adopt similar programs to strengthen national values among students.
