<![CDATA[The instagram account @diskominfopontianak is used as a digital literacy media for the Pontianak community. However, judging from the number of followers, there are still many people who have not taken advantage of this. This research aims aims to describe the benefits and effects of accounts as digital literacy media. The study used qualitative methods with indirect observation research techniques and in-depth interviews with 11 informants. The data analysis technique uses data reduction techniques, data presentation, conclusions and verification as well as data validity tests using credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The results show that, 1) Account management using regular procedures; 2) Content implemented the 8 elements of digital literacy from Belshaw's theory and provides cognitive, affective, and behavioral responses from followers; 3) Followers view of the account is positive. It can be concluded the account is effectively used as a digital literacy media for the people of Pontianak.]]>
