<![CDATA[In his humanism Fromm saw an unconscious movement of humans towards dehumanization due to technology. Humans still live in the old view that technology is human progress and discovery to help humans themselves. For Fromm, with this kind of view, humans will instead be enslaved by technology of their own creation, for example the replacement of humans in many jobs due to the presence of production machines. Fromm then offers a humanization process with humanist planning for technology, increasing ratios and awareness so that humans are able to understand and make conscious choices. Usingl description and analytical methods, this article tries to understand dehumanization as well as drawing inspiration and providing a critical evaluation of Fromm's thinking.]]>
