Abstract

Petroleum and petrochemical industries are thoseindustries involving huge amount of products that shallbe transported across regional and even internationalboundaries. Accordingly, many of these industries havetheir own special harbor or port to accommodate shipsthat are in and out of the harbor for the purpose of trans-porting their products. Industries having their own har-bor for example are, among others, Pupuk KalimantanTimur (PKT) in East Kalimantan that produces Ammo-nia and Urea, and Pertamina Cilacap in Central Javathat produces fuels.
