Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik parametrik yaitu uji-t sampel berpasangan, nilai p = 0,039.Kata kunci: Gerakan Pelvic Rocking dengan Birth Ball, Lama Persalinan Kala I & Ibu InpartuThe length of the first stage of labor is the length of time required to give birth. Treatment for prolonged labor can be done by doing pelvic rocking using a birthing ball. Pelvic rocking with a birthing ball is a pelvic exercise by moving the pelvis from side to side, back and forth and rotating using a birthing ball. To determine the effect of pelvic rocking movements with a birth ball on the duration of the first stage of labor in postpartum mothers in the BPM working area of the Baitussalam Community Health Center, Aceh Besar Regency. This research is a type of pre-experimental research with a two group pretest posttest design approach. The population in this study was all 118 birth mothers. The sample in this study was 30 inpartu mothers consisting of two groups, namely 15 in the intervention group and 15 in the control group. This research was conducted on 15 September – 15 November 2022 at the BPM working area of the Baitussalam Community Health Center, Aceh Besar Regency. The research instrument used was an observation sheet with data analysis, namely univariate and bivariate. The results of the research in the control group showed that the length of labor in the first stage of labor for postpartum mothers was with a mean value of 9.60, the standard deviation was 2.613 and the minimum and maximum values were 6 - 14. Then in the intervention group, the length of first stage of labor for postpartum mothers was obtained with a mean value of 7. 00, standard deviation 2.777 and the minimum and maximum values are 4 - 12. Based on the results of parametric statistical tests, namely the paired sample t-test, p value = 0.039.Keyword: Pelvic Rocking Movement with Birth Ball, Length of Labor in First Stage & Inpartum Mothers
