<![CDATA[This research aims to describe the existence of an alternative economy in an effort to meet daily living needs that will bring the people in Bawan Village to change their mindset to preserving forests for future life. This research method uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the discussion show that the Pandu Alam Lestari Foundation provides assistance and development to local communities in an effort to protect and utilize forests and the environment. The PAL Foundation and the Team continue to provide assistance, advice and motivation to land owners and local communities to participate in planting and land use activities to support efforts to improve degraded land and restore forest ecosystems.]]>
