<![CDATA[Background: Workplace stress affects 20% of nurses at RSUD Pringsewu, even though nurses are medical professionals who have continuous direct contact with patients. Perception of workload, perceived urgency, poor supervision, toxic work environment, lack of authority, conflict, and value differences between management and staff are all factors that can cause workplace stress. Of the fifteen nurses surveyed for the preliminary study at RSUD Pringsewu, seventy-three percent said they were bored and tired of their daily routines. Of the fifteen nurses surveyed, 66.7% said that mental burdens such as punctuality were a result of the hospital's work culture. In addition, more than three-quarters of these nurses have been working in the field for at least ten years. Knowing what makes nurses at RSUD Pringsewu anxious in their work in 2024 is the main driving force behind this research. Research method: Research method: quantitative research with a cross-sectional design. A total of 219 individuals, including all nurses working in the inpatient wards of RSUD Pringsewu, formed the population used for this study. The purposive sampling technique was used to select 156 respondents. Surveys were used to collect data, which were then analyzed using bivariate (chi-square test) and univariate methods. (frequency distribution). Research results: Research results: Nursing stress at Pringsewu Regional General Hospital in 2024 correlates with factors such as workload (p-value = 0.000), organizational culture (p-value = 0.010), length of service (p-value = 0.000), and relationship with superiors (p-value = 0.010). On the other hand, dual roles do not correlate with nursing stress at Pringsewu Regional General Hospital in 2024 (p-value = 0.941). The issue of nurses being overworked should be addressed by upper management, who should recruit more nurses or improve the hospital's infrastructure and facilities.]]>
