Abstract

Background: This research is motivated by the knowledge-sharing activities among librarians, which is an essential aspect for a special library to develop with various innovations and new ideas in the future according to user needs. Methods: The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a case study approach and uses the Knowledge Spiral theory with SECI Knowledge Management model. The research data were obtained from interviews, observations, and documentation review. The subjects or informants in this study consist of six individuals, including coordinators and librarians at the BRIN Library. Purpose: The study aims to understand the process of knowledge sharing among librarians that takes place in the BRIN Library as part of knowledge management. Findings: The research findings indicate that the process of knowledge sharing among librarians at the BRIN Library comprises four stages of knowledge conversion, which are socialization, externalization, combination, and internalization. Conclusion: The implementation of knowledge sharing activities at the BRIN Library begins with the disseminating of knowledge, conducted both in-person and online, absorbing and storing knowledge acquired from previous knowledge sharing activities, processing existing knowledge, and disseminating knowledge obtained and processed through knowledge sharing activities at the BRIN Library. Keywords: Knowledge Sharing, Librarian, National Research and Innovation Agency Library (BRIN). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ABSTRAK Aktivitas Knowledge Sharing Antar Pustakawan di Perpustakaan Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (BRIN) Latar Belakang: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena kegiatan knowledge sharing antar pustakawan merupakan aspek penting untuk perpustakaan khusus agar dapat mengembangkan perpustakaan khusus dengan berbagai inovasi dan gagasan baru kedepannya sesuai dengan kebutuhan user. Metode: Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus dan menggunakan teori Spiral Pengetahuan dengan model SECI Knowledge Management. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu koordinator dan pustakawan di Perpustakaan BRIN yang berjumlah enam orang. Tujuan: Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan memahami proses knowledge sharing antar pustakawan yang dilakukan di Perpustakaan BRIN dalam proses pengelolaan pengetahuan. Temuan: Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses knowledge sharing antar pustakawan pada Perpustakaan BRIN meliputi empat tahap pengelolaan pengetahuan yaitu sosialisasi, eksternalisasi, kombinasi dan internalisasi. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan knowledge sharing yang diimplementasikan di Perpustakaan BRIN diawali dengan menyampaikan pengetahuan baik kegiatan ini dilakukan secara luring maupun daring, menyerap dan menyimpan pengetahuan yang diperoleh dari kegiatan knowledge sharing yang telah dilaksanakan, mengolah pengetahuan yang dimiliki dan menyebarluaskan kembali pengetahuan yang telah didapat dan diolah dari kegiatan knowledge sharing yang dilakukan di Perpustakaan Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (BRIN).
