Abstract

Abstrak Pendahuluan: Masalah obesitas merupakan masalah global yang sering terjadi pada masyarakat, baik dinegara maju maupun berkembang termasuk Indonesia. Obesitas pada remaja menjadi penting untuk diperhatikan, hal ini dikarenakan remaja dengan obesitas 80% mempunyai peluang mengalami obesitas pada usia dewasa. Faktor yang beresiko obesitas antara lain kurangnya aktivitas fisik, sering mengonsumsi fast food, pola makan tidak seimbang, dan riwayat obesitas pada orang tua.Tujuan; ; Untuk mengetahui faktor yang hubungan dengan obesitas remaja. Metode; Desain penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan case control. Populasi penelitian siswa SMA. Sampel diambil dari SMA N 1 Kemangkon, MAN 2 Banyumas, dan SMA N 1 Batturaden. Rumus sampel menggunakan deskriptif kategorik dengan jumlah sampel 40 siswa, sehingga dalam penelitian 40 case (siswa obesitas) dan 40 control (siswa tidak obesitas). Pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa timbangan berat badan, microtoise, dan kuisioner pola makan dan kebiasaan olahraga yang telah tervalidasi dengan Alpha Cronbach’s 0,841 dan 0,729. Analisis data menggunakan uji ChiSquare dengan ∝ 5%. Hasil; Kejadian obesitas paling banyak dialami laki – laki 52.5%. Obesitas dengan faktor genetik sebanyak 37.5%. Pola makan kurang baik 71.4%. Kebiasaan olahraga tidak baik sebanyak 70.6%. Hasil analisis menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan antara jenis kelamin dengan obesitas (p=0,823), Namun terdapat hubungan signifikan antara faktor genetik (p=0,001), pola makan (p=0,042) dan kebiasaan olaharaga (p=0,001) dengan obesitas. Kesimpulan; Tidak ada hubungan antara jenis kelamin dengan obesitas, Sedangkan terdapat hubungan antara faktor genetik, pola makan dan olahraga dengan kejadian obesitas. Risk factors for obesity include lack of physical activity, frequent consumption of fast food, an unbalanced diet, and a history of obesity in parents. Objectives; to determine the relationship between eating patterns and exercise habits with the incidence of obesity in adolescents. Method; Quantitative research design using case control. The study population was high school students. Samples were taken from SMA N 1 Kemangkon, MAN 2 Banyumas, and SMA N 1 Batturaden. The sample formula used descriptive categorical with a sample size of 40 students, so that in the study 40 cases (obese students) and 40 controls (non-obese students). Sampling purposive sampling. The research instruments used were weight scales, microtoise, and questionnaires of diet and exercise habits that had been validated with Cronbach's Alpha 0.841 and 0.729. Data analysis used Chi-Square test with ∝ 5%. Results; The results showed that the incidence of obesity was mostly experienced by men 52.5%. Obesity with genetic factors as much as 37.5%. Poor diet 71.4%. Exercise habits are not good as much as 70.6%. The results of the analysis showed no relationship between gender and obesity (p=0.823), but there was a significant relationship between genetic factors (p=0.001), diet (p=0.042) and exercise habits (p=0.001) with obesity. Conclusion; There is no relationship between gender and obesity, while there is a relationship between genetic factors, diet and exercise with the incidence of obesity.Keywords: Diet, Exercise habits, Obesity, Adolescents, Fast food.
