<![CDATA[Suicide incidents that have occurred in recent years have become a serious problem related to mental health and have received global attention. The phenomenon of suicide usually begins with the process of emergence of thoughts about ending one's life. These thoughts are often triggered by various factors that vary in each individual. The aim of this research is to find out and describe the causal factors and forms of suicidal ideation that arise in the minds of final year students at the Faculty of Dakwah Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq State Islamic University, Jember. This research uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The data collection technique uses observation, semi-structured interviews and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and verification. The results of this research show that the factors that cause suicidal ideation are psychological disorders, such as childhood trauma, sexual abuse trauma and low self-acceptance. Meanwhile, the forms of suicidal ideation that arise in the minds of final year students at the Faculty of Dakwah are jumping from heights, injuring the body with sharp objects, stabbing the body using sharp objects and crashing their bodies into vehicles.]]>
