Marriage is something sacred that is done to achieve certain goals such as continuing offspring, increasing social rank and status, bringing back strained kinship relationships, or even to ensure that wealth does not pass to another party. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between economic status and promiscuity with the incidence of early marriage in the UOBF work area of the Jatirogo Community Health Center, Kec. Jatirogo, Tuban Regency . This research uses an analytical design with a cross-sectional time approach. The sample collection method used Simple Random Sampling with a partial sample of catin at UOBF Jatirogo Health Center in September-February 2021 as many as 60 people. There are two variables in this research, namely the independent variable is economic status, the dependent variable is early marriage. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis uses the Contingency Coefficient statistical test . The statistical test results have a significant value of ρ = 0.004 r = 0.391, this shows that the value ρ < α (0.004 < 0.05) which means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, namely that there is a relationship between economic status and the incidence of early marriage at the Jatirogo Community Health Center, Jatirogo District, Tuban Regency. 2024 with weak correlation strength (r = 0.391). (Sopiyudin Dahlan, 2016). Therefore, it is necessary to re-evaluate the education that has been carried out and improve education on the impact of early marriage on teenagers, from teenagers at school to their parents, so that the impact of early marriage can decrease and be resolved.
