Abstract: The theory of state organs views the state as an organism consisting of organs with distinct functions that support one another to achieve common goals. In Indonesia, this theory serves as the foundation for the formation and strengthening of state institutions as stipulated in the 1945 Constitution. This study aims to analyze the application of the theory of state organs within Indonesia's constitutional system, particularly in the division of legislative, executive, and judicial functions, as well as the emergence of independent institutions. Employing a normative juridical research method with statutory, conceptual, and historical approaches, the study finds that the application of the theory has fostered a more democratic institutional structure. However, challenges such as overlapping authorities and insufficient inter-agency coordination persist. Strengthening the implementation of checks and balances is essential to enhance the effectiveness of governance. Keywords: Theory Of State Organs, State Institutions, Constitutional System.
