<![CDATA[Batik is Indonesia's cultural heritage that needs to be preserved. This conservation effort is through the creation of contemporary batik whose motifs come from the diversity of Indonesian traditions and culture, for example the Ramayana story that developed in Java and Bali. The design method used is S. P. Gustami, with the tittle Craft Art Creation Methods (2007: 329 - 332) The result of this design is a textile product in the form of batik cloth panels measuring 200 x 115 cm which are processed using hand-written batik on thick satin cloth using dab remasol dye which not only contains aesthetic value but is also functional. ye which not only contains aesthetic value but is also functional.ABSTRAKBatik adalah warisan budaya Indonesia yang perlu dilestarikan. Upaya pelestarian ini melalui penciptaan batik kontemporer yang motifnya berasal dari keragaman tradisi dan budaya Indonesia, misalnya cerita Ramayana yang berkembang di Jawa dan Bali. Metode perancangan yang digunakan adalah teori S.P. Gustami dengan judul Metode Penciptaan Seni Kriya (2007: 329 - 332). Hasil dari perancangan ini merupakan produk tekstil berupa kain batik panel ukuran 200 x 115 cm yang diproses menggunakan batik tulis di kain satin tebal menggunakan pewarna colet remasol yang tidak hanya mengandung nilai estetis tetapi juga fungsional.]]>
