<![CDATA[Penataan basic visual components memiliki pengaruh besar dalam menggambarkan moods, emotions, dan ideas pada film Kaïn (2009) karya Kristof Hoornaert. Penelitian ini menunjukkan korelasi penataan basic visual compenents terhadap intensitas cerita, menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan landasan teori basic visual components oleh Bruce Block. Hasil dari penelitian ini membuktikan film Kaїn mampu mengomunikasikan moods, emotions dan ideas, melalui penataan basic visual components khususnya pada elemen line dan shape dalam menyelaraskan intensitas visual dengan intensitas dramatik pada cerita, sehingga pesan dapat tersampaikan secara optimal, walau tanpa didampingi elemen suara khusus. Penelitian ini juga memberikan kontribusi mengenai pemahaman terhadap basic visual components, dalam menyampaikan pesan menggunakan bahasa visual. The arrangement of basic visual components has a great influence in describing moods, emotions, and ideas in the movie Kaïn (2009) by Kristof Hoornaert. This research shows the correlation of the arrangement of basic visual components to the intensity of the story, using qualitative methods based on the theory of basic visual components by Bruce Block. The result of this research proves that Kaїn is able to communicate moods, emotions and ideas, through the arrangement of basic visual components, especially in line and shape elements in harmonizing visual intensity with dramatic intensity in the story, so that the message can be conveyed optimally even without the accompaniment of special sound elements. This research also contributes to the understanding of basic visual components, in conveying messages using visual language.]]>
