<![CDATA[Purpose - This study aims to analyze public perceptions of the security and reliability of transactions at Bank Syariah Indonesia, Sungai Penuh Branch. The primary focus is to uncover the mindset, expectations, and uncertainties of the public regarding Islamic financial services, which play a crucial role in addressing the growing expansion of the Islamic banking industry in Indonesia. Method - This research employs a qualitative approach. The study involves 10 respondents from Sungai Penuh City to understand their beliefs, experiences, and trust in Islamic banking. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews to obtain comprehensive perspectives. Findings - The analysis is expected to provide a comprehensive overview of how the public perceives the security and reliability of transactions in Islamic financial institutions. The findings will highlight various factors influencing public perception, including personal experiences, knowledge of Islamic financial products, and the level of trust in banks. Practical Implication - The research findings are expected to contribute valuable insights into the factors influencing public perceptions of Islamic financial services. This study also aims to provide recommendations for Bank Syariah Indonesia, not only in the Sungai Penuh Branch but also in other branches, to enhance transaction systems, customer trust, and service quality. These improvements are essential in addressing increasingly complex technological challenges. Originality/value - This study is original as it offers an in-depth understanding of public perceptions of the services provided by Bank Syariah Indonesia, Sungai Penuh Branch.
