Stroke is a disease caused by a blockage in the blood vessels. This blockage disrupts the circulation of blood and oxygen pumped by the heart to the brain, causing the brain to lack nutrients and affecting brain function, causing parts of the body controlled by the brain, such as the face, hands, and feet, to fail or even become disabled. InI conducted research using the Literature Study and the R&D (Research and Development) methods from this case. The literature study method was chosen for this project because of the need for an in-depth theory that can support the making of this project clearer. The R&D research method was also chosen to complement and strengthen the data that had been received by focusing on existing related research and making significant developments on the project that would be made on a tool that focused on rehabilitating the fingers of post-stroke patients, namely using the Soft-Actuator Exoskeleton Glove equipped with a vibration device. The results of the study on this tool were obtained from the Literature Study and R&D (Research and Development) methods, providing results that meet expectations; finger rehabilitation in post-stroke patients using the Soft-Actuator Exoskeleton Glove can increase the flexibility of the stiff finger muscles and re-stimulate the nerves in the fingers so that they can react. The vibration device can stimulate the muscles to be more relaxed and stimulate the motor nerves in the fingers of post-stroke patients. This study concludes that stroke patients still have to do routine rehabilitation so that the affected body parts can function again, and rehabilitation with the Soft-Actuator Exoskeleton Glove with a vibration device can be useful for rehabilitating post-stroke patients' fingers who experience stiffness.
