Tujuan penelitian menganalisis efektivitas fungsi kepolisian dalam mendeteksi kasus korupsi di Polda Sulawesi Selatan (Studi Kasus Polda Sulawesi Selatan dan faktor gangguan lain pelaksanaan fungsi intrlijen dalam mendeteksi kasus korupsi di Polda Sulawesi Selatan (Studi Kasus Polda Sulawesi Selatan). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian empiris,pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dengan penyidik dan tim inafis kepolisian Polda Sulawesi-Selatan yang menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling untuk pengambilan sampel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Efektifitas fungsi intelijen kepolisian dalam mendeteksi kasus korupsi di Polda Sulawesi Selatan telah berjalan secara efektif dalam pemenuhan penanganannya. (2) Faktor gangguan lain pelaksanaan fungsi intelijen kepolisian dalam mendeteksi kasus korupsi di Polda Sulawesi Selatan dengan masih adanya keterangan berbelit-belit oleh pihak yang bersangkutan, dan masih adanya hambatan lain dalam pemerikasaan berkas disebabkan lambatnya penyetoran berkas dari instansi/pihak BPK maupun Kejaksaan dalam jangka waktu yang cukup lama. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of the police function in detecting corruption cases at the South Sulawesi Regional Police (Case Study of the South Sulawesi Regional Police and other disruptive factors in the implementation of intelligence functions in detecting corruption cases at the South Sulawesi Regional Police (Case Study of the South Sulawesi Regional Police). This study uses an empirical research method, and data collection is carried out by interviewing investigators and the South Sulawesi Regional Police Inafis team using non-probability sampling techniques. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The effectiveness of the police intelligence function in detecting corruption cases at the South Sulawesi Regional Police has been running effectively in fulfilling its handling. (2) Other disruptive factors in the implementation of the police intelligence function in detecting corruption cases at the South Sulawesi Regional Police with the continued existence of convoluted statements by the parties concerned, and the continued existence of other obstacles in the examination of files due to the slow submission of files from the BPK and Prosecutor's Office agencies/parties over a fairly long period.
