ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Di era modern, kebahagiaan sering kali dikaitkan dengan pencapaian kekayaan dan kesuksesan, yang dapat memicu burnout syndrome akibat tekanan kerja yang berkepanjangan. Burnout, yang sering dialami oleh perawat ditandai dengan kelelahan emosional, depersonalisasi, dan penurunan pencapaian pribadi. Kondisi ini berdampak negatif pada kinerja perawat dan kualitas pelayanan kepada pasien. Tujuan: Menganalisis hubungan antara burnout syndrome dan kinerja perawat di RSKDIA Pertiwi Makassar. Metode: Menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan observasional analitik dan desain penelitian cross-sectional, data dikumpulkan dari 62 responden melalui kuesioner. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menemukan hubungan signifikan antara kelelahan emosional (p=0,008) dan pencapaian personal (p=0,001) dengan kinerja perawat. Namun, tidak ditemukan hubungan signifikan antara depersonalisasi (p=0,949) dan kinerja. Kesimpulan: Kelelahan emosional dan pencapaian personal mempengaruhi kinerja perawat, sedangkan depersonalisasi tidak mempengaruhi kinerja perawat. Faktor eksternal, seperti lingkungan kerja dan komitmen profesional, mungkin memiliki pengaruh yang lebih besar terhadap kinerja perawat. ABSTRACT Background: In the modern era, happiness is often associated with the achievement of wealth and success, which can trigger burnout syndrome due to prolonged work pressure. Burnout, frequently experienced by nurses, is characterized by emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and a decline in personal achievement. This condition negatively impacts nurses' performance and the quality of care provided to patients Objective: To analyze the relationship between burnout syndrome and nurses' performance at RSKDIA Pertiwi Makassar. Method: This study employs a quantitative approach using an observational analytical method with a cross-sectional research design. Data was collected from 62 respondents through a questionnaire. Results: The study found a significant relationship between emotional exhaustion (p=0.008) and personal achievement (p=0.001) with nurses' performance. However, no significant relationship was found between depersonalization (p=0.949) and performance. Conclusion: Emotional exhaustion and personal achievement impact nurses' performance, while depersonalization does not significantly affect it. External factors, such as the work environment and professional commitment, may play a larger role in influencing nurses' performance.
