ABSTRACT Mothers' difficulties nursing are one of the variables that contribute to insufficient breastfeeding. One of the WHO's goals hasn't been met: newborns should only be breastfed exclusively. Predisposing elements that have an impact on people's healthy behavior include work and parity. In Rumah Bersalin Citra Palembang, the goal of this study is to pinpoint the variables that affect exclusive breastfeeding rates are working mothers' and parity. Cross-sectional sampling by accident is the method used in the research design. 38 respondents made up the sample size. Frequency distribution was used to illustrate the results of the univariate data analysis whereas chi-square was used for the bivariate data analysis. A link between working mothers and parity (p-value 0.003) and exclusive breastfeeding (p-value 0.012) was found in the bivariate analysis results. There is establish a connection between working mothers and, parity with exclusive breastfeeding in Rumah Bersalin Citra Palembang. Keywords: working mothers, parity, exclusive breastfeeding. ABSTRAK Kesulitan ibu menyusui merupakan salah satu variabel yang berkontribusi terhadap kurangnya pemberian ASI. Salah satu tujuan WHO belum terpenuhi: bayi baru lahir hanya boleh disusui secara eksklusif. Unsur predisposisi yang berdampak pada perilaku sehat masyarakat meliputi pekerjaan, paritas, dan keterampilan. Di Rumah Bersalin Citra Palembang, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui variabel-variabel yang mempengaruhi tingkat pemberian ASI eksklusif dan paritas ibu bekerja. Pengambilan sampel cross-sectional secara tidak sengaja adalah metode yang digunakan dalam desain penelitian. 38 responden membuat ukuran sampel. Distribusi frekuensi digunakan untuk menggambarkan hasil analisis data univariat sedangkan chi-square digunakan untuk analisis data bivariat. Terdapat hubungan antara ibu bekerja dengan paritas (p-value 0,003) dan pemberian ASI eksklusif (p-value 0,012) pada hasil analisis bivariat. Terdapat hubungan antara ibu bekerja dan paritas dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif di Rumah Bersalin Citra Palembang. Kata kunci: ibu bekerja, paritas, ASI eksklusif.
