This research aims to analyze the needs of the GBKP Tanjung Beringin for economic empowerment, analyze the congregation’s perception of the resources available at the GBKP Tanjung Beringin, and analyze the idle resources owned by the church and the congregation. This research uses descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods. Data were collected by observation techniques, quetionnaires and interviews. Respondents of this study were all the households of the GBKP Tanjung Beringin’s congregation who met the requirements. The result of this research show that GBKP Tanjung Beringin needs economic empowerment. In addition, the church and congregation of GBKP Tanjung Beringin have idle resources that can be utilized in an effort to empower the church and congregation’s economy.
