Sterile hand swab samples were collected using a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design to assess differences before and after the application of various concentrations. Statistical analysis was performed using One-way ANOVA. The study revealed differences in total plate count before and after the application of pacar air flower extract (Impatiens balsamina L.) on the hands of Poltekkes Denpasar students. The mean total plate count before treatment was 29,98 CFU/cm2, while after treatment, it was 4,70 CFU/cm2. Total plate count significantly decreased (p0.05) after applying the pacar air extract compared to before (Impatiens balsamina L.).
